SIMPLE IRA

  • Employees share responsibility of growing their retirement
    • Employees can also contribute up to $12,5000 per year
    • Employees age 50 or older can add an additional $3,000 catch-up contribution (subject to cost-of-living adjustments in later years)*
  • Each year, employer is required to contribute:
    • Matching contribution up to 3% of compensation, or
    • 2% non-elective contribution for each eligible employee*
